Below is how I usually structure work with startups and scale-ups. All amounts are quoted after a short scoping (ex. VAT / reverse charge per your status). A free 30-minute call is usually enough to produce a written estimate.

How pricing works

Engagement tiers

Fractional DevSecOps / cloud architect

TJM : 750 € à 790 € (day rate, ex. VAT)

Monthly retainer from agreed days per week — typically 1–3 days per week equivalent, remote-first (EU timezones).

  • Roadmap, architecture reviews, hands-on IaC and pipelines.
  • Security and compliance alignment (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR-aware design).
  • Slack/email async + agreed working sessions.
Discuss retainer

Audit & assessment sprint

Fixed-fee sprint — after discovery (often 2–4 weeks elapsed)

Focused review with written outcomes — not a full-time embed.

  • Cloud / platform architecture, CI/CD, or security posture review.
  • Findings report, prioritized backlog, and optional read-out workshop.
  • Can be a stepping stone to fractional or project follow-up.

Project-based delivery

Milestone Statement of Work (SOW) or time-and-materials within an agreed cap — TJM 750 € à 790 € (day rate, ex. VAT)

Defined milestones: migration, platform build, compliance sprint, etc.

  • Statement of work with milestones and acceptance criteria.
  • Weekly demos or written progress, depending on the engagement.
  • Handover docs and knowledge transfer included in scope.
Outline your project

Add-ons

  • Evening / weekend critical work — by prior agreement, separate from standard advisory days.
  • On-call rotation — priced separately from advisory days; not default on fractional tiers.
  • Training / workshops — half-day or full-day sessions, fixed fee after objectives are clear.
